Google Pixel Watch Retail Box Emphasizes “with Fitbit” Leak Guides

A lot has leaked about the Pixel Watch in recent weeks, and now we’re taking a look at the retail box for Google’s first wearable.

Compared to Apple (and Samsung), Google opts (via Reddit) for long, narrow packaging (which has always reminded me of Ollivanders wands). Rather, it is a small rectangular box that is presumably as tall as the clock.

There’s the big multi-colored “G” logo, “Google Pixel Watch,” and an angled shot of the device with an analog face. See case color (Silver, Black or Gold) and band (Obsidian, Chalk, Hazel or Charcoal). In the lower right corner, we see “with Fitbit”. This box leak shows us the Pixel Watch in silver and charcoal.

Given the size of the case, Google presumably didn’t attach the straps to the watch. This ends up ensuring that owners know how to use Google’s proprietary strap attachment system and could encourage them to buy more. There will also be a charging cable with a magnetic connector and a USB-C cable in the box.

Meanwhile, this box leak tells us that the Pixel Watch is starting to arrive at retail partners (and perhaps carriers) ahead of the October 6th announcement. It suggests that the watches will hit store shelves shortly after the unveiling.
