Palace aide says Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage ‘will end in tears’

A royal aide predicted Prince Harry’s marriage to Meghan Markle “will end in tears”, claims an explosive new book.

According to a report, Lady Susan Hussey, who has been Queen Elizabeth II’s maid of honor since the 1960s, allegedly made the comments during a lunch with theater executives months before the couple’s wedding in May 2018.

The longtime aide’s comments were revealed to investigative reporter Tom Bower Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsorspublished earlier this month.

“While discussing the possibility of Meghan linking up with the National Theater after the wedding, Hussey got unexpectedly serious about the couple’s future,” Bower writes. “‘This will all end in tears,’ she would have said. ‘Mark my words.'”

According to Bower, Lady Susan, 83, had been part of the team of palace courtiers asked to help Meghan adjust to life within the royal family.

The book also claims Meghan had beef with Victoria Beckham after she suspected the former Spice Girl was leaking stories about her to the press.

Harry even confronted David about it, Bower claimed in his book.

In Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the WindsorsBower writes: “Harry and Meghan were chained together.

“Every night they scoured the internet to read newspaper reports and troll posts on social media.

“Irrationally, they lumped the two together and fed each other a media frenzy.

“Convinced that as champions of goodness they were being persecuted by mendacity and racism, they felt victimized by the mildest criticism.

“Harry’s instability fueled Meghan’s fears that friends were leaking stories to the media.

“In particular, he suspected Victoria Beckham of indiscretion.

“Harry called David Beckham to repeat the accusation. Outraged, Beckham’s truthful denials damaged their relationship.
