Peter Andre has revealed that he plans to move his family to Australia.
The Queensland-raised singer, who has lived in the UK since the 1990s, said he intends to move to the Gold Coast “for as long as possible” to care for his ailing mother Thea, who is 86 .
Andre, 49, who is currently starring in ‘Teen Angel’ in a London stage production fat, will move to his family from December, he wrote in a column for new magazine
“If all goes to plan, it will be December and we’ll all be going to Oz as a family,” Andre wrote.
“We want to get out as soon as we can and stay as long as possible, but with preschool it’s complicated.”
“They have different schedules, which complicates it.”
The mysterious girl The singer shares Junior, 17, and Princess, 15, with ex-wife and former British glamor model Katie Price, and Amelia, 8, and Theo, 5, with his current wife of seven years, Emily MacDonagh.
Andre, who visited his parents, including 88-year-old father Savvas, earlier this year when international borders opened, gave an insight into his loved one’s health struggles mother in an OK! magazine column published last week.
“My parents celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary last week. 67 years! Pretty amazing. Dad will be 90 next year and mom 86,” she wrote.
“Right now, though, mom is struggling. She’s not doing great. She’s suffering a bit and in decline.
“I was with her a few months ago. We just have to be with her as much as possible. It’s just the age. She has all kinds of things now.”
Andre was originally born in London, before his family moved to Sydney in 1979 when he was just six years old.
They then settled on the Costa Dorada when Andre was nine years old.
As a teenager, Andre set his sights on the UK after getting his big break on the Australian talent show. new faces, which saw him land a recording contract.
In London, he recorded his debut single drives me crazy and its great success, Give me a little sign, which peaked at No. 3 on the Australian Singles Charts.
She gained more notoriety when she married Price, whom she met in the British version I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! in the year 2004.
They launched their own reality show, Katie and Peterbefore divorcing in 2009.
