Vaccination warrants for domestic travel and outbound international flights will be suspended on Wednesday

The federal government will announce tomorrow that vaccine warrants for domestic travel by plane and train, as well as outgoing international travel, will be suspended from Wednesday, government sources told CTV News.

Foreigners coming to Canada will still have to be vaccinated.

The mandates first came into force on October 30, 2021 and have required that all passengers on airplanes or trains be fully vaccinated in order to board.

The mandates have been heavily criticized by the Conservative Party of Canada in the House of Commons in recent months.
