69 mins: Kehrer and Moore have a good battle. The defender pulls the forward near the halfway line in his last fight.
67 min: Moore comes down the left and sends a cross into the box, but it’s too far ahead of Billing and West Ham clear. A promising sign for Bournemouth at last.
65 mins: A Bournemouth corner headed to Benrahma 30 yards out allows the Algerian to attempt an audacious volley which is well struck but only goes as far as a Cherries defender in the box.
63 min: Scamacca gives away a free kick in his own field. Bournemouth take it quickly and Fabianski is forced to get down well to save a shot.
I think it’s red, guys.

61 min: Rice picks up the ball 30 yards from goal and volleys past Travers, but the substitute keeper reads it and clears the danger.
“How can it not be a red?” asks Ian Sargeant about Lerma’s absence. “Is Mike Dean locked in the toilet?”
I’ll be honest, I’m pretty confused.
59 mins: “Yeah, I hope Neto’s injury isn’t serious,” says a worried Peter Oh. “Kavanagh and Osborn couldn’t be justified in their curse claims, could they? If Alisson and Ederson limp up before the World Cup, I’ll have a lot of answers.”
57 min: Rice lifts a pass to Bowen on the right, from where he fires a cross into the six-yard box but Travers holds on.
Oh no… Tavernier is on deck in pain now. They still have one change to make…
55 mins: Anthony and Zemura are stripped and ready to go into Bournemouth. They require some creativity and cunning in the field because they look incredibly forceful.
Lerma goes into the book for a ridiculous lunge on Scamacca from distance and catches him just below the knee. I think it’s very much a red card…
53 min: Benrahma is justifying his place in the team. His latest involvement sees him hit a shot from 30 yards, but it goes over the crossbar. He follows it up soon after with a sliced effort from the edge of the box that flies wide.
51 min: Benrahma whips in a cross from the left but beats all his team-mates, including a shot from Soucek at the back post.
At the other end, Johnson kicks the ball out of play because Kehrer has lost his boot. Bournemouth don’t return it – and neither should they – resulting in a few boos.
49 mins: “So Sean Dyche and Jamie Carragher on Sky say it’s a goal, no problem. I was watching on US TV and Robbie Earle and Danny Higginbotham say it’s a clear handball,” says Charles Robinson.
“What is the truth? Is there any real truth? Philosophically speaking, can truth be subjective or is there only one real truth?
There is no truth in football.
47 mins: West Ham have started where they have come out dominating possession in the first few minutes.
second half
Here we go again!
Neto is off and Mark Travers comes on for Bournemouth.
Carragher and Dyche believe it is a legitimate goal. They’d be furious if I went against them, I know.
Ian Sargeant emails: “Watching this in an American-themed sports bar in our Mexican hotel, highly unlikely to hear any pundits given the soft metal being played at 120 decibels, but it’s thought to be 4 goals home runs that probably shouldn’t have been maintained (after 3 against Fulham).
“Does that mean we’re a big club now?”
MASSIVE.
Gerrard out, Emery in.
“I think this is one of those where the decision is right, but the rule/law is wrong,” offers Samuel Campbell. “It doesn’t make it any easier for Bournemouth to swallow.”
The law is an ass.
Middle: West Ham 1-0 Bournemouth
Overall, West Ham looked the better team in the first 45 minutes but were lucky to go ahead after Kehrer basically took the corner before Zouma scored. Considering Bournemouth are now without their No.9 and have a limping goalkeeper, it could be a tricky second half ahead.
45+3 minutes: The important thing is that we will get many interpretations of the handball rule by the experts in the half.
GOAL! West Ham – Bournemouth 1-0 (Zouma, 45)
A West Ham corner is taken by Bowen, it hits Kehrer and Soucek heads it into the six-yard box before it bounces off both Downes and Zouma and lands in the bottom corner. The VAR takes a look to see if the ball hit Kehrer’s hands (I think it did) but the refs don’t think it’s against the rules. I’d be furious if I was a Bournemouth fan.

44 min: Benrahma cuts in from the left and takes aim but his shot is blocked before he can test Neto.
Solanke goes back down and takes off his boot. Moore is coming.
42 min: A backpass gets to Neto and he takes a touch before clearing to show his fighting leg is still working.
“Looks like Peter Oh’s headache came about 2 months early…hate to see him,” says Harriet Osborn.
40 mins: Solanke is keeping the physio busy with an ankle problem caused by Kehrer during his last attempt. He leaves with a shake of his head but quickly returns. Meanwhile… Neto is having a good stretch in the box hoping to continue after Travers is set to come on.
38 mins: Turns out Neto can’t continue and Travers is set to come on.
Bournemouth break Solanke after he intercepts a misplaced pass and drives from the halfway line into the West Ham box from where he fires straight at Fabianski. Then the striker goes down injured… that goes badly for Bournemouth.
36 mins: Neto gets a couple of minutes of treatment but eventually gets back up and sends the physio on his way. He doesn’t take the shot on goal though, leave it to Senesi. Can he continue if he can’t kick the ball?
34 mins: Scamacca does well to hold onto the ball and drive into the Bournemouth box. The ball eventually reaches Benrahma, whose throw is intercepted by Cook and cleared.
Kehrer soon takes a shot from 40 yards and whistles well wide. There is a problem for Neto who then goes down and appears to have a muscle problem.
32 mins: While Smith is being treated for what appears to be a shoulder problem, the remaining players go for a drink and move around with their coaches. Smith is back and ready to get back at it.
30 mins: Benrahma collects the ball 25 meters from goal, takes it off his feet and looks to launch himself into the box, only to cut his ankles, but the referee disagrees with the players’ version facts of the West Ham player. And Mr Coote is right that the contact is minimal.
Smith is off for Bournemouth after a hard landing.
28 min: Another Cresswell cross whips into the box but Neto takes decisive action to claim.
26 mins: It’s all West Ham at the moment, but Bournemouth are keeping them at bay.
24 min: Tavernier cuts in from the right and looks to curl the ball into the top corner from 25 yards, but his shot is quite wild and lands wide of the goal.
At the other end… Cresswell puts in a dangerous cross at the near post but Senesi is there to turn it away. The second is sent to the back post where Scamacca heads the ball and immediately claims a hand after it makes contact with Cook on the ground but the referee isn’t interested.
22 mins: Scamacca latches on to a ball on the Cresswell line, passes it to Soucek, Neto saves the worn shot. Then the flag goes up against the Italian who turns out to be in the game. West Ham are now on top.
20 mins: Three chances in a matter of seconds for the Hammers. Johnson is smartly righted by Bowen. The full-back cuts the ball back for Benrahma, who miscues it, but Downes shoots at him only to have his effort blocked, then the ball goes out to Cresswell to hit first time on goal where Neto is waiting to tip it over .

18 mins: Tavernier is broken by Bournemouth, but he tries an awfully awful cross in a failed attempt to find Solanke, only managing to tap the ball in for a goal kick.
16 min: The ball has gone flat! Whatever next?! Most things inside the London Stadium look a bit flat, to be fair. We need people with enthusiasm.
14 mins: Bournemouth put West Ham’s defense under some degree of pressure, causing Fabianski to get excited and poke the ball straight out of play over Johnson’s head.
“Oh Peter,” says Justin Kavanagh. “Now you’ve gone and put the hex on the Brazilian goalkeepers. The MBM commentator’s curse surely means the Seleção will now lose the World Cup final on penalties with their goalkeeper scoring the last penalty in the Roberto Baggio.(Or David Harvey, for younger readers).
12 mins: Cresswell crosses from the left which lands on the head of Soucek 10 yards out but the midfielder gets under the ball and sends his effort over the bar.
10 min: Scamacca arrives late at Senesi but the referee plays with advantage. The Bournemouth defender is left with a momentary limp.
8 mins: Bournemouth have their first real spell of possession and it ends with West Ham needing to scramble the ball after the ball sticks in the box and Solanke stretches to slot it past Fabianski but a mixture of goalkeeper and defender keeps the ball out. of the network
