A plane has crashed near the 5 Wing Goose Bay Airport in central Labrador, CBC News has confirmed.
The accident took place on Wednesday morning.
RCMP Cpl. Jolene Garland says officers are at the scene, in the woods about five kilometers from the Happy Valley-Goose Bay Airport.

Garland said they do not believe the plane was a commercial airline flight.
In an email, Capt. Nicole Morrison, public affairs officer for the 5th Wing, said the 444th Squadron is assisting with “the medical evacuation of passengers involved in the civil aircraft accident that occurred to the property of the DND”.
“5 Wing is responding in coordination with the RCMP and first responders,” he wrote.
Two passengers were airlifted by a 444 Squadron helicopter to a waiting ambulance and taken to the city hospital.
