Another one for the All Blacks

And there is another one. This is getting out of control for the Wallabies, who can’t stop Codie Taylor charging down the line. The All Blacks look truly unstoppable in the second half. New Zealand’s line-up looks perfectly suited. They are ruthless, the Wallabies are toothless.

Take a look and have your say

So here is the All Blacks latest try.

Now, have your say.

New Zealand is making more progress

The locals add a penalty and the score even more. The Wallabies have missed 18 tackles to the All Blacks’ four. They have conceded nine penalties to eight. Those are numbers that won’t do the job at Eden Park.

Nic White, Fraser McReight and Nick Frost come into the Wallabies field and they need to do something quickly. It’s shaping up to be mission impossible.

Whitelock scores for the All Blacks

How Sam Whitelock kept possession we will never know.

The All Black scores his team’s next try. The TMO had some 73 looks as Angus Bell had a hand on the ball and appeared to have seized the pill at the tackle as Whitelock charged over the line. But Whitelock’s hand was always on the ball, and the referee ruled that he never lost control. Morgan Turinui claimed there was a split, saying they “got it wrong” on Stan’s comment.

Time for the second part

The All Blacks lead 17-0 as we begin proceedings in the second half. Angus Bell comes on for James Slipper at the break. Can it help spark something? Because the Wallabies desperately need it.

The Aussies had some chances in the first 40. The All Blacks had more, and they made them count.

The photo to summarize the first 40 minutes

If there’s one image that sums up the first half, here it is. Black jerseys outnumber their gold counterparts. They just keep popping up on offense and defense.

Half time at Eden Park

Well, if the Wallabies can take anything from a 17-point deficit, it’s that they came from under 18 last week and still came back to lead late in the game. Dave Rennie must find an all-time address at the break with the Wallabies trailing 17-0 against the All Blacks at Eden Park.

The Australians have already been reduced to 14 men twice. They need to find a way to get back into this game quickly. They will have to score first in the second half.

The Wallabies go close but Koroibete makes contact

The Wallabies looked to have found their answer with some quick hands down the short side, but the TMO shows that Marika Koroibete’s left boot was clearly in contact.
