Space is a vital part of our everyday life. We depend on satellites for weather forecasts, communications, banking transitions, not to mention valuable surveillance tools for nation states. And it’s getting busy out there. About 5,000 satellites were launched in 2021. 20 years ago, about 800 were released each year.
