Leonardo DiCaprio and his model-turned-actress girlfriend Camila Morrone have called it quits after five years together.
The Academy Award winner, 47, and the 25-year-old beauty “quietly” ended their relationship earlier this summer, a source close to Leo told The Sun on Tuesday.
The latest breakup seems to reinforce a pattern the Once Upon A Time in Hollywood star has established of never publicly dating a woman over 25.

Insiders close to DiCaprio claimed to the publication that he and Morrone had recently split.
“Leo and Camila ended their relationship over the summer,” a source said. ‘There are no bad feelings between them. It came to a natural conclusion.
The Revenant star, who is Camila’s senior by 22 years, was first introduced to Camila in 2008 when she was just 12 years old.
His longtime friend Al Pacino, who had dated Camila’s mother Lucila Solá for years, made the introductions, and apparently Leonardo remained friends with the family for years.

Leonardo and Camila officially reunited sometime in 2017, following his breakup with model Nina Agdal just days before the Cannes Film Festival, although reps for both initially denied they were together.
The two raised the profile of their relationship the following year when they attended Ellen DeGeneres’ birthday party together, and were spotted showing off some PDA at Coachella later in the year.
Later in 2018, an anonymous source told People that the relationship had stepped up in seriousness, as the two were “very much in love and serious” and “talking about getting engaged.”
The source claimed that Leo had “never loved a girl like this,” and was even considering having children with his new love.
In 2019, Leo’s commitment to not talking about their relationship publicly was put to the test when both he and Camila premiered films at the Cannes Film Festival.
He represented his Quentin Tarantino film Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, while she walked the red carpet for his acclaimed drama Mickey And The Bear, but the two didn’t walk together at any of the screenings and he didn’t identify as yours. girlfriend at the festival

“Oh my god people are so mean and full of anger at people they know nothing about,” she wrote on her Instagram stories in response to the controversy. “I guess I just hope that this Friday people learn to live with a little less hate and put their time and interests elsewhere, because living without hate feels so good.”
In 2020, they continued their pattern of walking red carpets separately, but made their first public appearance as a couple when they sat together at the Oscars that year.
In December, E! News reported that they had taken the important step of moving in together.

Throughout 2022, the pair were seen to be affectionate and reported to be as strongly connected as ever.
DiCaprio was even seen taking the dogs Camila had raised on solo walks, suggesting he considered himself a father to them as much as she did.
In June, the Wolf Of Wall Street star was photographed on a beach trip with her father and Al Pacino, who Camila considers her stepfather even after splitting from her mother.
One of the last public sightings of the two appeared to be a beach outing in Malibu on July 3, though they weren’t photographed together at the time.
Camila now appears to have joined the ranks of Leo’s ex-girlfriends, none of whom are known to have dated the actor past the age of 25.
He celebrated his 25th birthday on June 16.

At the Academy Awards ceremony on March 27 this year, co-host Amy Schumer joked about Leonardo’s penchant for dating only young women.

But when explaining the genesis of the joke in April on The Howard Stern Show, Schumer revealed that the Aviator star didn’t mind the cost.
“He said, ‘Go ahead.’ They didn’t care,” she said. ‘And his girlfriend, Cami, is the shit. She’s actually the coolest whore you’ll ever meet.
