Sadio Mané has said that “the Senegalese people will do what they want” when deciding their future.
Mane has 12 months left on his current contract and has become a summer transfer target for Bayern Munich, with the Bundesliga champions preparing an offer and a three-year deal for the Liverpool striker.
Mane told Sky Sports News ahead of last week’s Champions League final that he would decide his future after the defeat to Real Madrid. And the 28-year-old has now broken his silence at a press conference ahead of Senegal’s qualifier for the Africa Cup of Nations against Benin.

Mane was asked to answer a poll about his future and said, “Like everyone else, I’m on social media and I see comments. It’s not between 60 and 70 percent of Senegalese who want to leave Liverpool?
“I’ll do whatever they want. See you soon! Don’t be in a hurry because we’ll see it together.”
Coach Jurgen Klopp was asked about Bayern’s rumors at his pre-Paris press conference and his response was uncompromising.
“Where Sadio will play next year, he will be a great player,” the Reds coach said.
Sky Germany reports that Bayern will offer Liverpool another € 30 million between € 5 million and € 10 million in bonuses and give Mane a contract until the summer of 2025.
Liverpool, however, would like more than 30 million euros to consider making a deal.

Vinny O’Connor said Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp was “relaxed” while answering questions about Sadio Mane’s future at the club ahead of the Champions League final.
Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has made Mane the top priority on his transfer list and met with his representatives this month to formalize interest.
Paris Saint-Germain were also linked with Mane, but the extension of Kylian Mbappe’s contract and the possible departure of Leonardo as sporting director means that the club is unlikely to have the financial margin to reach an agreement.

Mohamed Salah revealed his plans for next season as the Egyptian prepares for Saturday’s Champions League final against Real Madrid.
Mane is not the only contractual issue Liverpool have to deal with this summer, as his team-mates striker Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, who make up the rest of the famous three strikers, are also entering their final 12 months.
However, before the Champions League final, Salah confirmed that he will be at Liverpool next season. The joint Premier League Golden Boot winner has repeatedly said publicly that he would like to stay at Anfield beyond his current deal.
Salah told a news conference: “In my mind, I don’t focus on the contract. I don’t want to be selfish at all. I said two months ago that this is the team. It’s an important week for us. I want to talk about the contract now, I’m sure I’ll stay next season, that’s clear. “
