As of Saturday, 9News understands that 13 new COVID-19 infections have been reported at the facility.
The new facility management says it is doing more to protect its residents from new infections.
Staff are understood to be wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE) and residents have been isolated in a separate building.
This is the first outbreak in St Basili’s since the deadly outbreak in 2020.
