Swiftplay makes Valorant even faster.

Riot Games has released Swiftplay, a new game mode in Valorant that is designed to give you a way to play through the Valorant experience in a very small amount of time.
While there are already many game modes in Valorant that allow you to play the game in a short amount of time compared to full matches, there hasn’t been an opportunity to really experience the same style of play in a reduced amount of time , which means players need to spend around 40 minutes to play the main game mode of Valorant.
Now Swiftplay takes this style of play and boils it down to best-of-nine, with the first team to complete five rounds being the winner. Each game lasts four rounds, with the possibility of a sudden death overtime round if it ends in a 4-4 tie.
As for the game mode, it is exactly the same as the core Valorant game, two teams of five compete with one on offense and one on defense. Attackers must plant and detonate the spike, or kill all defenders, while defenders must kill all attackers, disable the spike, or simply run out the clock.
Of course, with only four rounds in each half, there have been some tweaks to the economy and end points to make sure you can really use all of Valorant’s fun abilities and weapons. At the beginning of each half, you will get two free end points, which will make it easier to get your best skills, and you will get a fixed amount of credits at the beginning of each round, there is also a bonus of 600 cr for winning the round of gun In a round or two you should have enough cash to be fully equipped for the rest of the half, with spike plant and kill bonuses remaining the same.
Swiftplay will be available alongside patch 5.12 later today and will be playable on all unranked maps. So if you’re looking for a way to get the full Valorant experience in a much shorter amount of time, which Riot reckons will take around 15 minutes to play, this is the perfect place to do it. However, this is only the beta test of the game mode, and it is currently expected to be removed on January 10th, so if you want to try it out, you better do so in the next few weeks.
