Two massive bushfires have broken out in Tyneside following a spate of blazes in the region this week.
Footage shows a huge inferno tearing through Greenside fields in terrifying scenes.
Images show the fire has ravaged large sections of the field in question, which backs onto a road where there are residential properties.
Another fire, this time in Walbottle, is also causing widespread concern with around 7 appliances at the scene and police crews.
The wildfire is currently burning through fields near residential properties.
This follows another bushfire that broke out in Ryton Willows just yesterday evening.
Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service has been contacted for comment.
