Hundreds of thousands of people bid farewell to Queen Elizabeth II on Monday during the funeral of Britain’s longest-recovering monarch.

Elizabeth, who died on September 8 aged 96, sat on the British throne for 70 years. His son, King Charles III, is now the head of state not only of the United Kingdom and Canada, but also of 13 other nations.

Officials from all over the world have descended on London for the funeral. They include US President Joe Biden, Governor General Mary Simon, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and several of their predecessors.
