A seven-year-old girl is in a life-threatening condition after a suspected shooting near Euston station, police have said.
According to the Met Police, four people were injured following a shooting in Phoenix Road at approximately 1.29pm on Saturday.
In addition to the young woman, three women aged 48, 51 and 54 were also injured: all three were taken to a central London hospital. The 48-year-old man has suffered life-changing injuries, police said, but the other two are said to be in a “non-life-threatening” condition.
The minor was taken to a central London hospital where she remains. A second child, a 12-year-old girl, was taken to hospital with a minor leg injury also in the incident, but has since been released.
The Metropolitan Police said the incident took place in the vicinity of a church where a funeral was being held. Initial investigations indicate that the shots were fired from a moving vehicle that was later driven from the scene.

No arrests have been made at this time, but there is still a significant police presence in the area.
Superintendent Ed Wells said: “Any shooting incident is unacceptable, but for a number of people, including two children, to be injured in a shooting in the middle of Saturday afternoon is shocking.
“Our thoughts are with all the victims, but in particular with the seven-year-old girl whose life is in danger and with her family.
“The investigation into this horrific attack is now underway, involving local officers and specialist detectives. I can assure the communities of Camden and beyond that we will do everything we can to identify and bring those responsible to justice.”
He said there would be an increased police presence in the Euston area and urged anyone with information to contact police.
