Jackass star Bam Margera is fighting for his life on a ventilator after testing positive for Covid.
The former pro skater, 43, is said to be battling pneumonia after being admitted to a San Diego hospital earlier this week, The Sun reported.
According to TMZ, doctors decided to put him on a ventilator in the ICU after he tested positive.
He is said to be in a stable condition and is being cared for by health professionals.
The Jackass alum has been in and out of rehab this year and has publicly struggled with addiction.
He has also had a series of confrontations with law enforcement.
Bam reportedly went missing in June after escaping from his court-ordered rehab facility.
Sources close to the stunt told TMZ he was “staying at the sober facility after recently arguing with his wife.”
It was revealed in October last year that Bam had initially entered rehab after he “attacked a woman and broke her breast implant” while high on cocaine.
He made headlines in 2021 after saying he had been “fired” from the latest film in the franchise.
Fans of the franchise were surprised when Bam Margera didn’t appear in the Jackass Forever trailer.
At the time he took to Instagram and claimed that his Jackass co-stars and friends treated him badly.
“My family – Jackass – has betrayed me, rejected me, abandoned me,” Bam said.
According to TMZ, Bam said, “If anybody cares about me, don’t go see their movie.”
He also asked fans to send him money with Venmo so he could “blow them out of the water.”
